Testosterone pellets are one way to deliver testosterone replacement. The appeal is convenience: no weekly shots. The trade-off is that the dose can’t be changed until the pellets wear off. Small pellets, about the size of a grain of rice, placed under the skin of the hip in a quick in-office procedure. They release hormone steadily for several months.
Testosterone pellets for men?
Yes, for men whose labs and symptoms both point to low testosterone. Our provider follows American Urological Association guidelines: two early-morning tests on separate days, plus symptoms, before treatment.
Pellets for women?

How often?
Typically every three to five months, based on labs and how you feel.
Pellets or injections?
Injections are weekly or biweekly and easy to adjust. Pellets are set-and-forget for months but can’t be removed once placed. The provider will go over both.
