Lab testing questions
Do I need a doctor’s order?
No. Our medical director can order the labs that fit your visit. You can also bring recent results from your own doctor.
How long do results take?
Most come back from the outside lab in a few days. Iron labs usually take about 48 hours.
Does insurance cover it?
Many plans cover lab work when your own doctor orders it. If you’d rather go that route, have your doctor order the labs and bring us the results.
Do I need to fast?
It depends on the test. We’ll tell you when you book.
What does it cost?
Hormone visits start with a $100 consult, applied to treatment if you start. Ask us about other lab pricing when you call.
