Why vitamin C
Vitamin C (ascorbic acid) is an antioxidant your body can’t make on its own. It supports normal immune function and is needed to build collagen, the protein in skin, tendons and blood vessels.
Because the gut limits absorption, IV vitamin C reaches blood levels that tablets can’t. That is why nearly all of our infusions include it, and why some people ask for a dedicated high-dose infusion.

About IV vitamin C
Why get vitamin C by IV instead of a tablet?
Your gut limits how much vitamin C it absorbs at one time. An IV bypasses digestion, so blood levels can reach a range that isn’t possible by mouth.
Do I need a lab test first?
For high-dose vitamin C, yes. Everyone gets a G6PD test first, and we do it right here with a simple finger prick. G6PD deficiency is an inherited condition, and high doses of vitamin C are not safe for people who have it because they can damage red blood cells. Our hydration and vitamin blends use lower amounts of vitamin C.
Who should not get high-dose vitamin C?
People with G6PD deficiency, a history of kidney stones or kidney disease, or iron overload conditions may not be candidates. Our medical team reviews your history before anything is ordered.
